Xanthus stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist. He quickly took another towel and dried his hair, beofre stepping over to the cabinet under his mirror and reaching out for his eye patch. As he did, he found himself glancing up and looking at his left eye, something he usually tried to avoid. The utter blackness that was usually hidden from sight stared at him, without a hint of white or colour. He stared back, almost becoming hypnotised at how strange it looked.
His mind flashed back to the first time Rixevr had seen it.
"...How did it happen?" He heard Rixevr ask in his memory

"Well, Mr. Skellington, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with Zero, here. He just seems a little tombsick, that's all. Let him visit his old tomb every once in a while and he should be fine," the teenage vet told the tall skeleton.
The skeleton took his ghost dog. "Thank-you, Dr. Eraknid."
Once the skeleton left his office, the boy looked down at his nametag. It read 'Dr. Erik Eraknid, M.D.' Erik sighed. "I'm not suitable to be called a doctor. I'm only sixteen." The blonde-haired teen said to himself as he stepped out the door and walked over to the Halloween Town cemetery.
